Academies: How to prepare for your 2024-25 financial year end and audit

Overview:
This workshop takes you through all the steps required to prepare for your financial year end and external audit as an academy trust.
It will include how to check your trial balance, posting your year end journals and preparing your fixed asset register as well as what to include in your audit file.
The SBM Services year end preparation workbook, from our toolkit, will be shared with delegates as the basis for the training, however it is not essential to use this, although many find this a useful tool to ensure all tasks are completed.
