Terms and Conditions

Bookings

Upon making a booking for a place or places at one of our training events via our website, www.sbmtraining.co.uk, you will be sent a booking confirmation email.  This transaction brings into existence a legally binding contract based on these terms and conditions.

Whether you are booking a place for yourself or on behalf of someone, you acknowledge and agree you have the authority to make this booking.

 

Payment

Delegates will be invoiced in full 2 weeks in advance of the training date. 

The price invoiced will be as shown on our website.

Payments are preferred via BACS transfer; however, cheque payments can be accepted.

Invoices should be settled within 30 days of receipt.

Attendance at the event before we receive payment will form a legally binding contract and you will be liable for the cost of the training.

The invoice will be sent to the email address provided on your booking.

 

Non Payment

Where the invoice remains unsettled, this may constitute a breach of contract and we may refuse you and your delegates entry to the event.

We may take legal action in order to recover any outstanding fees where the training event has been attended.

We may refuse or cancel future bookings where payments for an event remain outstanding.

 

Cancellations

We understand that sometimes things change, and you may need to amend your booking.  The amount charged/refunded will depend on when you confirm you are no longer able to attend the course.

The table below states the percentage of the training cost that will be refunded to you depending on the amount of notice provided.

Changes to the Training

If SBM Services cancels a training session for any reason, we will aim to notify you at least two weeks before the scheduled date. You will be given the following options if this does occur:

  1. Transfer to another date or time: If possible, a new date will be chosen for the planned training session for all participants to transfer on to. This however may not always be possible.
  2. Receive a refund: If you have already paid for the training session and you choose not to book on to the rescheduled session a full refund will be given.

We reserve the right to change venues (within reason) and substitute trainers at our discretion.

Wherever possible, we will contact you in advance to tell you we will be cancelling an event, unless an emergency requires us to cancel the event on the day.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone events if there are insufficient delegate numbers to ensure a high quality training experience or if a trainer is ill.

Refunds will be processed via BACS payment and will be made within two weeks of notification that the training has been cancelled.
